EQ+ is here to support students who may face additional challenges in accessing career opportunities. Whether it’s funding for career-related activities, tailored career support for students with disabilities, or connecting with employers who are committed to inclusive hiring, EQ+ is designed to remove barriers and help you succeed. 

What you can access through EQ+

  • Apply for the Employability Fund to cover costs like travel to interviews or career-enhancing courses
  • Access mentoring and internships, with limited places available each year 
  • Get tailored support from EmployAbility, for students with disabilities, long-term health conditions or mental health conditions 
  • Join programmes and events like the EQ+ Awards, the Sustainability Challenge, and Discover 
  • Request additional support when using the Career Studio, such as quieter spaces or flexible ways of accessing guidance 

Who is EQ+ for?

EQ+ is designed for students who research shows may face barriers to achieving their career goals. This could include having a disability or long-term health condition, being a mature or commuter student, or coming from a low-socioeconomic background.

Eligible students are contacted directly about specific opportunities, so you don’t need to worry about missing out.
